Peskanov Concerto No. 18 “In Classical Style” (Intermediate to Moderately Difficult) in digital format (PDF). Composer’s intent of this concerto was to write something in classical style that would be accessible to younger students. Concerto No. 18 in B Flat Major consists of three contrasting movements: I. Allegro con brio, II. Menuet and III. Scherzo. The music of this concerto “In Classical Style” is reminiscent of works by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. It is a wonderful introduction to the classical piano concerto, and serves as an excellent technical and musical showcase for aspiring young pianists.
