Peskanov’s Autumn Waltz depicts late autumn when the leaves have already fallen and there is a slight sadness in anticipating winter. There must be a good balance between the right and left hands. The right hand should play legato while the left hand plays non-legato. The quickest and most effective way to accomplish this is to practice hands separately.
There is a Transcribed Piano Solo version for playing with chamber orchestra.
