Peskanov’s Little Rondo is dedicated to his brother, Mark, a concert violinist. The brothers used to play together since childhood. They began working on early pieces by Haydn, Beethoven and Mendelssohn, and some were written in rondo form. Little Rondo is a reflection on some of their works, and its character projects the joy and fun we experienced when they made music together as children.
