Sarah’s Song is dedicated to the composer’s middle child. When she was less than one year old, she was playing with her older siblings and the composer was encouraging her to walk across the room. Peskanov made up this little melody and we all started singing it to her. Sarah became so excited that she took her very first steps! “Sarah, little baby, come back to the door. Sarah, little baby, I love you more and more!”
